The MPU-6500 is a high-performance 6-axis motion tracking sensor that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a single compact package. Designed by InvenSense, the MPU-6500 delivers precise motion sensing and orientation detection for embedded applications.

Note: This module includes the MPU6500 6-axis IMU sensor with built-in gyroscope and accelerometer for accurate motion tracking and orientation measurement.

Perfect for: Drones, robotics, self-balancing robots, motion sensing projects, and stabilization systems.

The MPU-6500 features integrated 16-bit ADCs for each axis, allowing simultaneous sampling of gyroscope and accelerometer data. It also includes a Digital Motion Processor™ (DMP) that can perform complex motion processing algorithms directly on the sensor.

Unlike older IMU sensors, the MPU-6500 supports both high-speed SPI and I2C communication interfaces, making it suitable for high-performance microcontroller platforms such as Arduino, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded systems.

With its compact size, low power consumption, and accurate motion sensing capabilities, the MPU-6500 is widely used in drones, robotics, gaming controllers, and motion-controlled applications.
